EDF Action Urging the House to Pass Critical Democracy Reform

(Washington D.C., March 2, 2021) EDF Action is urging the U.S. House of Representatives to vote for the For the People Act (H.R.1), which is a comprehensive bill composed of critical reforms aimed at strengthening our democracy. EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio released the following statement:

“A healthy democracy and a healthy environment are inextricably linked, and that’s why we’re urging the House to pass the For the People Act. These critical reforms will strengthen our democratic process and ensure that the people hold the power, not the big polluters who are prioritizing their bottom line at the expense of climate progress.
