EDF Action Announces Thank You Campaign

(Washington, D.C., August 17, 2022) EDF Action, the advocacy partner of the Environmental Defense Fund, announced a thank you campaign promoting the Inflation Reduction Act and the benefits it will have for hardworking families. The campaign includes a new TV ad, “Did Something About It” which thanks Congress and the President for tackling the climate crisis and lowering costs for families. EDF Action is also running ads in Arizona and Delaware thanking Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Tom Carper for their essential roles in helping to achieve this climate progress.  

This new campaign is additive to the over $10 million EDF Action and EDF have already spent on television, digital, and radio advertising in support of bold climate action. EDF Action has been among the most active groups in support of the bold climate agenda.

Congress has passed the biggest climate bill in our history and President Biden just signed it into law. The Inflation Reduction Law will lower costs for families, invest in our clean energy future and make our communities healthier,” said EDF Action President David Kieve. “Here at EDF Action we know this isn’t the end but just the beginning of climate progress to come in the years ahead.”
