Supporting Climate Action Helped Push Murphy to Victory in FL-07

(Washington, D.C. – November 3, 2020) EDF Action congratulates U.S. Representative Stephanie Murphy (FL-07) on winning re-election.

EDF Action worked to deploy grassroots activist through the Green Wave program, where the group had an on-the-ground organizer and mobilized EDF Action members for Rep. Murphy’s re-election campaign. The Green Wave was a nationwide membership mobilization program done in partnership with the Sierra Club, NRDC Action Fund, National Wildlife Federation Action Fund and League of Conservation Voters where the groups helped to elect and re-elect pro-environment candidates in key battleground districts across the country.

Through Green Wave, Murphy also partnered with EDF Action to hold several virtual phone banks.
