EDF Action mobilized grassroots support for Steven Horsford’s re-election

(Washington, D.C. – November 6, 2020) EDF Action congratulates U.S. Representative Steven Horsford (NV-04) on winning re-election.
“Voters sent a strong message by re-electing Steven Horsford to Congress,” said EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio. “Steven Horsford is a tireless advocate for Nevada families, our clean energy economy and protecting our environment for generations to come. We are proud to support Steven Horsford in his re-election bid and we know he’ll continue to work to find bipartisan solutions that benefit his district.”
EDF Action worked to deploy grassroots activist through the Green Wave program, where the group had an on-the-ground organizer and mobilized EDF Action members for Rep. Horsford’s re-election campaign. The Green Wave was a nationwide membership mobilization program done in partnership with the Sierra Club, NRDC Action Fund, National Wildlife Federation Action Fund and League of Conservation Voters where the groups helped to elect and re-elect pro-environment candidates in key battleground districts across the country.
