Fighting for Climate Action Helped Push Casten to Victory in IL-06

(Washington, D.C. – November 4, 2020) EDF Action congratulates U.S. Representative Sean Casten (IL-06) on winning re-election.

EDF Action worked to deploy grassroots activist through the Green Wave program, where the group had an on-the-ground organizer and mobilized EDF Action members for Rep. Casten’s re-election campaign. The Green Wave was a nationwide member mobilization program done in partnership with the Sierra Club, NRDC Action Fund, National Wildlife Federation Action Fund and League of Conservation Voters where the groups helped to elect and re-elect pro-environment candidates in key battleground districts across the country.
