(Washington, D.C. – November 4, 2020) EDF Action congratulates U.S. Representative Cindy Axne (IA-03) on winning re-election.

“Voters sent a strong message by re-electing Cindy Axne to Congress,” said EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio. “Cindy Axne will continue to fight for Iowa families by working to grow the clean energy economy and create good paying jobs. We are proud to support Cindy Axne in her re-election bid and we know she’ll continue to work to find bipartisan solutions that benefit her district.”

EDF Action Votes ran a mail program supporting Rep. Axne’s re-election.

EDF Action also worked to deploy grassroots activist through the Green Wave program, where the group had an on-the-ground organizer and mobilized EDF Action members for Rep. Axne’s re-election campaign. The Green Wave was a nationwide membership mobilization program done in partnership with the Sierra Club, NRDC Action Fund, National Wildlife Federation Action Fund and League of Conservation Voters where the groups helped to elect and re-elect pro-environment candidates in key battleground districts across the country.
