EDF Action Votes Brings Back NC-09 TV Ad in the Special Election

(Charlotte, North Carolina – August 13, 2019) Today, EDF Action Votes is again running a TV ad in the Special Election in North Carolina ninth district. The ad, “Clear Choice,” showcases the contrast between Dan McCready, a solar energy entrepreneur and Marine combat veteran — and state Senator Dan Bishop, who has a history of siding with big polluters and other special interests.
The ad began running under EDF Action on broadcast and cable on Thursday, July 18 across the North Carolina 9th Congressional District, and in conjunction with EDF Action Votes, an independent expenditure-only committee, and ran until August 6. This new buy brings the total up to over $800,000.
