EDF Action was on the ground in Kalamazoo on July 16 for a press event on the energy affordability crisis and how the failed policies of President Trump, rubber-stamped by Rep. Bill Huizenga, are making things worse. The wildfire smoke that blanketed Michigan on that day allowed us to lean into the extreme weather events being fueled by the climate crisis and fouling our air – we were there on what was the worst air quality day ever in Kalamazoo.
