(Washington, D.C. – October 7, 2020) Tonight is the Vice Presidential debate, and represents a major opportunity for voters to hear directly from Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris about the pressing issues facing our country, including the Trump administration’s anti-environmental agenda and the climate plans the Biden-Harris campaign have laid out.

EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio released the following statement:

“Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris will offer two very different versions for our future. On one hand, Harris and Biden are campaigning on the promise of a clean economy that will create jobs and work toward environmental justice. Pence, as he has always done, will be advocating for another four years of the same pro-polluter policies that continue to attack our air, water and health. Voters have a clear choice, and this debate will highlight just how far apart these two campaigns are on the critical issues facing our country, from health care to climate change to justice.”
