(Phoenix, AZ - September 15, 2020) Today, EDF Action Votes launched a $1 million TV ad campaign calling out appointed Senator Martha McSally for breaking promises and putting Arizonans’ health at risk. The ad cites her record voting against critical clean air protections. At the same time McSally voted to undermine healthcare and take approximately $1 million in campaign contributions from corporate polluters.

The TV ad, “Sick,” will start running today on broadcast in the Phoenix media market.

“Time and again, Martha McSally has voted to protect corporate polluters but not the health of Arizona families,” said EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio. “McSally’s votes are a dangerous combination — undermining both coverage for pre-existing conditions and clean air safeguards that reduce the risk of asthma for our kids. Arizona rejected McSally’s record two short years ago and they must do it again this November.”
