New EDF Action Ads: Business Leaders and Local Voices Call on Congress to Act on Clean Energy

(Washington, D.C., May 25, 2022) EDF Action, the advocacy partner of the Environmental Defense Fund, is launching a new campaign that showcases how climate and clean energy investments can benefit our communities. The ads feature residents and business owners who are urging Congress to act now and invest in our clean future.
This ad campaign adds to the over $8.5 million EDF and EDF Action have spent on advertisements in support of the President’s climate agenda since June 2021. EDF Action is a lead supporter of bold and ambitious climate and clean energy action, working closely with the Biden administration and on the Hill to get results.
“Climate and clean energy investments will protect our environment and our health all while strengthening our economy. We should be doubling down on these efforts. That’s why we’re calling on Congress and President Biden to hammer out a deal and deliver for the American people,” said EDF Action President David Kieve. “Our campaign is elevating the voices of people and businesses, across the country, who are calling for climate action, because they know that these investments will help our communities and economy thrive.”
