Jon Powers Joins EDF Action Board of Directors

(WASHINGTON, DC -October 31, 2019) – EDF Action announced today that Jon Powers has joined the EDF Action Board of Directors.

Jon Powers is president and co-founder of CleanCapital, an industry leading clean energy investment platform. His passion for clean energy stems from his time serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq, where he learned how vital clean energy is to protecting America’s national security. He helped to revolutionize the U.S. Army’s energy program and later served as Federal Chief Sustainability Officer under President Barack H. Obama from 2012 to 2014.
