Every Vote Must be Counted in the Presidential Election

(Washington, D.C. – November 4, 2020) With the presidential race being too close to call, EDF Action is urging that every voice be heard and every vote be counted.

“With the outcome of the presidential race unclear, it’s important that we make sure that every vote is counted and every voice is heard,” said EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio. “Millions of voters across this country braved a pandemic to use their voice and their vote to decide the direction that our country will take for the next four years. And now, we are calling for every vote, in every state to be counted, regardless of if it was cast early, by mail or in person on Election Day. The health of our democracy is at stake, and we must make sure that voters have confidence in our system by counting each and every last vote.”
