(Washington, D.C. - March 14, 2022) EDF Action, the advocacy partner of the Environmental Defense Fund, released a new 15 second digital ad to amplify President Biden’s call in his State of the Union Address for Congress to pass major investments in clean energy and environmental justice. This new digital spot is part of a broader campaign highlighting President Biden’s call for Congress to prioritize passing his climate agenda in his first State of the Union address. This six-figure campaign launched in early March with a full-page color print ad in the Sunday edition of the President’s hometown paper, the Wilmington News Journal

This new campaign compliments and adds to the $8 million ad campaign that EDF and EDF Action have spent in support of the President’s climate agenda since late-June 2021.

“At a time when some are peddling false solutions that won’t have any impact on what Americans are paying for gas, EDF Action is focused on the big picture. Let’s speed up our transition to an economy that’s powered by clean energy so that a decade from now, most Americans won’t need to fill their cars with gas, and will be powering and heating their homes with clean electricity. We’re proud to support President Biden’s climate agenda, and are doing our part to help pave the way for this change to happen. As President Biden said: ‘let’s get this done’,” said EDF Action President David Kieve.
