EDF Action Launches Campaign Praising Rep. Harley Rouda for his Clean Energy Leadership

(WASHINGTON, D.C- November 12, 2019) Today, EDF Action launched a mail and digital advertising campaign thanking Congressman Harley Rouda (CA-48) for his leadership tackling climate change and prioritizing clean energy. This campaign includes targeted digital buys and mail for California’s 48^th Congressional district highlighting his record standing up for Orange County families and protecting the environment.

“EDF Action is excited to see Congressman Harley Rouda leading by example – doing what’s right for his Orange Country district – creating jobs, growing the economy and combating climate change,” said EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio. “Congressman Harley Rouda is working across the aisle to fight for Orange County families and showing true leadership on environmental issues, including boosting clean energy and tackling the climate crisis head on.”

Congressman Harley Rouda’s record speaks for itself. He co-sponsored legislation that would help combat climate change and give businesses the tools to transition to a clean energy economy. He also introduced legislation to encourage electric vehicle cars and the infrastructure necessary to support these vehicles.

This is part of a larger bipartisan advertising campaign thanking Reps. Harley Rouda, Cindy Axne, Sean Casten, Francis Rooney, Brian Fitzpatrick, Joe Cunningham and A. Donald McEachin for their environmental leadership. The total campaign spend across all seven districts is $600,000.
