Lowering Energy Costs and Creating Clean Energy Jobs Helped Push Governor Whitmer to Victory

(Washington, D.C. – November 9, 2022) EDF Action congratulates Governor Gretchen Whitmer (MI) for winning reelection.

We were proud to support Gretchen Whitmer in her reelection bid and know she’ll continue to fight for Michigan families. As part of its largest-ever program to engage EDF Action members in critical campaigns, EDF Action also supported Gretchen Whitmer by deploying staff to Michigan. These staffers educated EDF Action members about opportunities to volunteer and vote for climate champions while also working with the campaign on behalf of EDF Action PAC to contact and turn out voters.
