(Washington, D.C. – November 10, 2022) EDF Action congratulates U.S. Representative Kim Schrier (WA-08) for winning reelection.
“Voters sent a strong message by reelecting Kim Schrier to Congress,” said EDF Action President David Kieve. “Schrier’s record in Congress speaks for itself: working to protect public health and fighting for hardworking families, including finding ways to lower energy costs. We were proud to support Kim Schrier in her reelection bid and know she’ll continue to fight for Washington families. We look forward to working with Representative Schrier to continue making climate progress over the next two years.”
EDF Action Votes teamed with LCV Victory Fund on a joint TV ad supporting Rep. Schrier. Additionally, EDF Action Votes launched a digital ad in the final weeks of the election. In total, EDF Action Votes spent $460,000 to help reelect Rep. Schrier.
As part of its largest-ever program to engage EDF Action members in critical campaigns, EDF Action also supported Kim Schrier by deploying staff to Washington. These staffers educated EDF Action members about opportunities to volunteer and vote for climate champions while also working with the campaign on behalf of EDF Action PAC to contact and turn out voters.
