(Washington D.C. – November 14, 2019) Today, EDF Action launched a video with Governor Steve Bullock about climate change and his plan to tackle the challenge head on.

This is part of the EDF Action video series with presidential candidates, giving both Republicans and Democrats the opportunity to talk about the climate crisis and offer policy solutions to combat it. These videos are short and shareable, giving voters across the country the opportunity to engage with the content while helping to inform the American people about where candidates stand on this critical issue. This builds off the initial launch, which included videos from Senators Michael Bennet, Cory Booker, Amy Klobuchar and former Congressman John Delaney.

EDF Action is making these videos accessible to voters in every state, so they can learn more about the candidates and their climate positions. These videos are up on the EDF Action website, EDFAction.org/climate-conversations, and will be sent to EDF Action members and will be promoted on social media to the American people.

“Thanks to Governor Bullock for becoming the latest presidential candidate to meet with me and EDF Action to talk about climate change – it’s such a critical issue facing our country and our planet. Governor Bullock understands what’s at stake and the opportunity that will be gained from tackling this climate crisis head on. This is an important project that helps to inform voters about where all candidates stand on climate change,” said President of EDF Action Joe Bonfiglio. “We hope all presidential candidates, Republicans and Democrats, will meet with EDF Action and have this important climate conversation.”

EDF Action invited Senator Michael Bennet, Senator Cory Booker, Vice President Joe Biden, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Secretary Julián Castro, former Congressman John Delaney, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Amy Klobuchar, *former Congressman Beto O’Rourke, *Congressman Tim Ryan, Senator Bernie Sanders, *former Congressman Mark Sanford, Tom Steyer, President Donald Trump, former Congressman Joe Walsh, Senator Elizabeth Warren, former Governor Bill Weld, Marianne Williamson, and Andrew Yang to participate in the project.

The goal of these videos is to have every presidential candidate that was invited, have a climate conversation with EDF Action. The organization will continue to release videos on a rolling basis as they are filmed.

*These candidates we’re invited to participate in the project, but have since dropped out of the presidential race
