Kathleen Gasperine has more than 7 cycles of experience working on high-profile, democratic political campaigns and in the national leadership of nonprofit development. As a veteran of the three most recent presidential campaigns, she is a seasoned and strategic fundraising professional who specializes in forging strong relationships and building dynamic, effective teams. Most recently, Kathy was the Deputy National Finance Director for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Campaign overseeing all of the fundraising activity and relationships in the Northeast and for Americans Abroad. In this role she was responsible for raising more than $47M, managing a multi-office team and oversaw more than 240 events.

Previously, she worked for President Obama for nearly seven years in various fundraising leadership roles at Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee, Presidential Inaugural Committee and Organizing for Action (OFA). As OFA National Development Director, she was responsible for raising more than $40M, overseeing board development and managing the major donor and marketing programs. Further, she led New England fundraising for the 2012 Obama campaign raising $32M and served as Finance Director and raised $9M for Deval Patrick’s successful campaign for governor in 2010. Kathy is a graduate of Ithaca College with dual degrees, a BS in Organizational Communication from the Park School of Communications and a BA in Politics. She lives in Boston with her husband, Brad, and their son, Dermot and rescue dog, Toby.
