(Washington, D.C. – November 5, 2020) EDF Action congratulates New Mexico State Representative Matthew McQueen (House District 50) on winning re-election.

“Voters sent a strong message by re-electing Matthew McQueen to the New Mexico state legislature,” said EDF Action President Joe Bonfiglio. “They know that Matthew McQueen will continue fighting to protect New Mexico families’ health and grow the economy with clean energy jobs. We are proud to have supported Matthew McQueen in his bid for re-election because we know he’ll continue to advocate for commonsense policy solutions that benefit hardworking families.”

During his primary election, EDF Action Votes spent $25,000 on a mail and digital campaign highlighting McQueen’s commitment to fighting for the health of his community and investing in a clean energy future. This was part of a larger campaign in New Mexico to help elect pro-conservation candidates to the state legislature.
