New EDF Action Ads Laud FL Rep. Carlos Curbelo’s Environmental Record
Florida Republican Has Pushed for Climate Action and Environmental Protections

(Washington, D.C. – September 7, 2018) EDF Action today launched a digital ad campaign supporting Florida Republican Congressman Carlos Curbelo, an outspoken advocate for action to address climate change and environmental protections.
“Carlos Curbelo has been a leader in his party on climate action and protecting the environment,” said Joe Bonfiglio, President of EDF Action. “We are proud to highlight Congressman Curbelo’s record with these ads.”
Rep. Curbelo is a vocal supporter of fighting climate change, leading a resolution calling on Congress to address the issue and writing the landmark MARKET CHOICE Act — an innovative proposal to fund American infrastructure that would also cut carbon pollution. On various other environmental issues—from standing up for sound science, healthy fisheries, and clean air —Curbelo has stood up to special interests.
The ads, which will run online starting today highlight Curbelo’s support for a range of environmental issues and will run in both English and Spanish.
