“Lawmakers who supported these measures have no plan of their own to address climate change; they prefer that the U.S. ignore the problem, and do nothing to protect our families or help America compete with other nations on clean energy technologies.

“Those who voted for these resolutions need to explain why they are in favor of having no limits on carbon pollution from power plants. That’s what these resolutions would achieve. And if they have a viable alternative to the Clean Power Plan that gets us the same pollution reductions, they should put it forward.”
