This week EDF Action launched a direct mail and digital advertising campaign in support of pro-environment candidates in two North Carolina state house races.

EDF Action has launched a communications campaign highlighting North Carolina State Representative Brian Turner’s record as an advocate for a healthy environment and healthy families. “Representative Turner has built a strong record fighting for clean air, clean water, and the health of North Carolina’s families and communities,” said David Kelly, Senior Manager, EDF Action. “Throughout his time serving in the North Carolina House, Representative Turner has fought to protect North Carolinian’s rights to clean air, clean water, and a healthy place to work and raise a family.”

EDF Action also launched a campaign to highlight North Carolina House candidate Terri LeGrand’s impressive history as an advocate for her community and her service to others. “As she has throughout her life, LeGrand will be a strong advocate for children, our environment, and healthy communities in the North Carolina House of Representatives,” said Kelly.

“EDF Action will continue to engage in North Carolina throughout the 2018 election cycle as part of our commitment to rebuilding viable, bipartisan conservation majorities in the North Carolina House and Senate,” added Kelly.
