EDF Action and EDF Action Votes Congratulate Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for Winning Reelection

(Washington, D.C. – November 8, 2022) EDF Action congratulates Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM) for winning reelection.  

“Voters sent a strong message by reelecting Michelle Lujan Grisham to a second term as Governor,” said EDF Action President David Kieve. “Lujan Grisham’s record over these past four years speaks for itself: from establishing nation-leading methane rules to reducing pollution to lowering energy costs for families. We were proud to support Michelle Lujan Grisham in her reelection bid and know she’ll continue to fight for New Mexico families. We look forward to working with Governor Lujan Grisham to continue making climate progress and taking the next steps to ensure water security across New Mexico, including safe drinking water in our rural communities.” 

As part of its largest-ever program to engage EDF Action members in critical campaigns, EDF Action supported Michelle Lujan Grisham by dedicating staff to work on the campaign. These staffers educated EDF Action members about opportunities to volunteer and vote for climate champions while also working with the campaign on behalf of EDF Action PAC to contact and turn out voters.
